Living Green In a World of Color

Sarah Hylton Realtor headshotIn 2008 I initially specialized in rural  land and ranch sales which gave me an appreciation for  over site agencies and county governance issues. Navigating complicated transactions with an attention to detail has given me  success in accomplishing client goals through a rather volatile market. Fully understanding a property and it’s systems and/or undeveloped potential is one of the keys to confidence in a real estate transaction and ensuring that information is conveyed, questions clarified and contracts are fairly negotiated keeps me mindfully engaged and directed.

I thrive on firmly rooting client dreams while supporting them through the buying and selling of real estate. This has had me venture into residential and commercial sales, not simply land and ranches. It’s the determining of  both the spiritual and pragmatic needs of clients and simultaneously building trusting partnerships that give me joy as a real estate agent. Win, win relationships, creative inspiration, spiritually directed action and a love for the land are what motivate my business practices.

I’ve had the opportunity to represent high net worth clients, organic farmers, first time homebuyers as well as help many clients’ transition through  difficult times. I celebrate diversity and live green in a world of color.

I hold the Green Designation through the National Association of Realtors and the CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert). I have also completed the Permaculture Design Consultant certification with Toby Hemenway.

It is my priority to continue to cultivate permaculture and placemaking skills through ongoing education and creative community involvement. In addition, I volunteer for the Ceres Project and the Visual Histories of Homelessness in Sonoma County Project and am a member of the Sebastopol Art Center. I live in Sonoma County with my son and enjoy being a Mom, a dancer, painter & sculptor, and making client dreams come true… All of these skills and spheres influence my real estate career and it, in turn, supports ongoing creative exploration.
